Taking Travel Photographs
Dont become so distracted by taking pictures that you fail to enjoy your vacation destination.
Keep a travel journal to correspond with your sightseeing. Aim to tell a story using pictures. Record the date, destination and any feelings or sensations that you experience.
Label your film canisters as you complete each roll of film and record this in your travel journal. Note that digital cameras automatically record the date and time that each photo is taken.
For digital photos, take multiple pictures of the same site and choose the best one, deleting the others.
Travel Photo Etiquette
Ask people for permission before you take their picture. If they say no then dont push the point.
Know the
religious customs and beliefs of your destination
